got a 1988 chevy s 10 4.3 swaped to a 5.7 just want some opinons on msd ignition systems. what do you think about them.. thinking about takeing the computer system out of the truck

Unless you're boosted or heavily modified, use what the General gave you...stock ignition is plenty capable.

Is the 5.7 stock? Upgraded? My ZZ4 runs good with a stock HEI but curved for performance. You can change the timing curve with simple weight changes.
