What are all the cowl tag ACC codes for a 1955 Chevrolet?

Depends on what if any factory options the body has such as tinted glass or power windows or seat as an example.....and they were not always noted.

Thank you for the information.
Here is a strange one, what does the big "E" represent in this photo? Also, the link that acardon provided does not have all the ACC codes. Yesterday, I seen the ACC code PI, which I think is padded dash? Anyway wondering if there were more ACC codes. Thank you!

There was no padded dash in 1955.
Only options built into the Fisher Body were listed on the tag. In 1955 that would be power windows and seat and EZI glass if I remember correctly. The heater could be factory installed in 1955 but never was listed on the tag.

There were times when the paint scheme was a little different, and they would have just a letter like that. Did you see the way the original colors were ON THE CAR.

I believe that you are correct.
See paint and Acc code thread in 1958 section.
There were two two tone combinations in 1955. Conventional 2 tone and Special 2 tone. Conventional was roof only (almost never see on hard tops) and special 2 tone where the trunk/rear quarters painted top color.
Late Bel Air post models could have the Special also.

Original colors on the car are gypsy red / shoreline beige. I pulled the paint combinations, see link from the Finger-Tip Facts on the 1955 Motoramic Chevrolet; https://postimg.cc/gallery/1fh2auhy6/

I'm thinking the big "E" on the cowl tag is for tinted E-Z-Eye tinted safety plate glass.
E = E-Z-Eye

Does it have beige on the trunk lid and tops of 1/4 panels, or is that red also?

That first picture in that link is about the three different paint combinations, but nothing about identification. The second picture shows the code letter for interior colors and fabric for those different combinations.

I think the cowl tag was put on so that the dealers would know paint codes ect, assembly lines used better ways to tell workers what to put on the car. I worked in an engine plant back in the 60s and we didn't even know what the numbers on the engine meant.

Hi Lee,
Here is my car. Still wondering what the big "E" on the cowl tag represents. Thanks for the assist.

The top looks white instead of beige, has it been repainted?

The color is beige. Absolutely positive.

Shoreline Beige looks like white next to the darker colors and in sunlight. If it was white, you'd need sunglasses to look at it.
