I need the cable assembly for the LH kickpanel. This is a push-pull knob on the kickpanel, which operates a cable/wire attached to a door on the center HVAC manifold. These normally fail where a U-clip fastens the push-pull end to the kickpanel. I probably also need the U-clip since it has been a few years since I had my eyes on it.

Got another want. My horn button shorted the other day (thank you aftermarket crap!) and both horns blared until coil melt down. Thus, I need a pair of '69-'70 horns. Not sure what other years fit.

Jim , the 4 spd console is totally different than the AT consoles. The only thing that is interchangeable is the compartment lid , front cap and the chrome mouldings. Awhile back I helped out another fellow with a conversion from AT to 4 spd and it is pretty extensive ( if you want the factory look) . This is the list I created for him on what is required to do a factory correct 4 spd conversion on a 69 Impala

Muncie 4 speed transmission ( 69 and up)
Bell Housing #3899621
Clutch assembly (69/70 only)
4 spd crossmember ( unique ) ( convertible is also different as it is shorter)
4 spd shifter mounting bracket with trans brace and trans support rod ( Impala only)
4 spd Muncie shifter with rods and trans levers ( 69 trans levers only 3588 Reverse , 0235 M1-2 , 0236 M3-4 )
Shifter handle ( console version only)
Shifter handle knob - Chrome
4 speed hump ( extremely rare)
4 speed console -woodgrain (69 only)
Console upper and lower boot
4 spd floor shift column (not AT) ... 69 only
4 spd pedal assembly ( clutch rod etc..) 69/70 only
Neutral safety switch
clutch springs
Z bar 69/70 only ( has indent for back drive rod ) 3954621
Clutch fork - B body only... ( its flat with no bends) # 3860005
Bellhousing ball stud ( internal one )
Clutch Fork Ball Bell housing stud
Clutch Fork push rod # 3859863
Clutch rod firewall boot (unique 69/70 only)
Reverse lock out / back drive assembly and rod ( Muncie only)-extremely rare and difficult to find
proper length drive shaft
