There are a lot of companies which can upgrade a vintage radio with modern internal parts and keep it looking stock on the outside. Your situation might be somewhat special because you are located outside the US, so I suggest you contact several and tell them where you live and what you want done. Ive got one, the frequencies have nothing to do on where you plan to operate the radio. It will follow whatever AM frequency is avail from what stations are avail where you live.
