Anyone know how to research the history (pre-'70) of a VIN. None of the current applications go back that far.

I just did this on my 1962, and it came back with information dating back to 1992, which was the date that the original owner sold the car in Nebraska, and the mileage. Unfortunately, I am no closer to finding the dealership that sold the car originally. When I check the DMV in Nebraska, they offer no historical information to the public.

Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.
