On a 1959 convertible there is supposed to be a relay inside the drivers side kick panel that goes to the top switch. Does anybody know where I can get one or how I could replace it with something else? Without it I just keep blowing fuses.

I know that on the 1962 convertible, GM used a 30 amp circuit breaker, and a wire from the starter fed the breaker located in the left kick panel. I checked group 14.490 for a circuit breaker in my parts book, and it had no listings at all. It referred back to 13.095 group, and that only listed a relay for the power seat. I suggest checking your factory assembly manual for a part number, and I can check more with that number.

Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

GM might have used the circuit breaker for a power window setup ss well.

The same relay was used on the wagons with the power tailgate window. Sometimes you can find them listed as such.
