new radiator is in the Blazer. now time for fresh anti-freeze. my water is very alakai-about 8 on the PH. so it is Wal-Mart bottle water. I can get drinking water or distilled water [unsure if there are any other choices there]. what's your choice?
Thanks Rod in AZ

If tap water is not what you want, I would buy distilled then you know all chemicals are out of it.

Distilled water is cheap. Once you do the flush with tap water, drain what you can, then pour distilled water down the thermostat housing until you think all/most of the tape water is gone. Install the thermostat/hoses...Then I'd just fill it with pure anti-freeze until you get a greenish tint out of the flush & fill kit...you did get one....right? Easy pieze...no burping/parking uphill/downhill or doing some sort of ritual dance.

Don't forget to clean out the overflow bottle.

I have been using distilled water for many years with good results.
