I have never seen one, but here's a brochure that I found on another web site. It says that you could have the SS package in any body style. Hmmm...wagon?

“It says that you could have the SS package in any body style.”

Actually what the brochure says in small print under:
“plus all the elegant standards in every ‘61 Impala”

“A complete special package...optional at extra cost for any of the five ‘61 Impala models.”

The five 1800 series 8-cyl Impala models:

1. Sport Coupe
2. Sport Sedan
3. 2-Door Sedan
4. 4-Door Sedan
5. Convertible

The 1961 17-1800 series Station Wagon was marketed by Chevrolet as a Nomad.
