My antenna broke on the 61. Dont need the whole replacement, just the mast.

Does it come apart? And can i replace it with 1963 mast only?

Dont want to spend $68 when the mast is offered for $34, just dont know if its the same internally or not. I thought just the base plate and angle is different.

Thanks!

I don't know the answer to your question, but I have a repop 62 rear antenna less base that you can have for the cost of postage. PM me if interested.

Is your antenna a original rear antenna ? If it is the antenna mast comes out from the upper end. It is seated in the bottom inside of the antenna base on originals.

Used original masts and NOS masts are available.

63 antenna masts are larger diameter (for the rear)

61/62 rear masts are the same.

61 & 62 front antenna original masts are the same(and removalable), not sure on 63 front antenna masts.

picture is of 2 original rear antennas for 61 and 62.

Hello Paul, thanks for the info and pictures, my antenna is a repop - supposedly of an original. Came from truck and car shop.

Just replacing the mast would be all I'd need, if my repop doesn't come apart the same way, then I would have to buy the whole assembly which I what I am trying to avoid.

thanks!

Oscar
