Guys...Did all of you include "CHEVYTALK" in the Club Section of your registration?
I hope so, if you're planning to get in on Friday Night. This has been pointed out for this year. So please reply to me if you did or did not, either way, so we can make sure you can enter Friday night. Saturday should not make a difference.
Saturday, I plan of arriving at 04:00AM to make sure we can hold our limited number of spots this year. Rodger, any chance of you three being around this early? Let me know. We only are getting ten spots and it is our job to defend them until we can fill them.

Ive also been coming to CFAC with the ChevyTalk group (parking my car on Friday nights) for probably about 10 years now, and I can attest to what Steve is saying here....that the organizers won't continue to grant CT our premier spot and high # of spaces into perpetuity....unless our group shows up in mass.
So...bottom line...if any of you reading this post are going to show up for CFAC this year, please 1) get your registration $ and form in with CFAC quickly 2) make darned sure you write "ChevyTalk" in on the line that asks what club or group you are with, and 3)plan to get here between about 4 and 6pm latest on Friday night to park your car in a spot "early" if at all possible. If you absolutely cannot get here until Saturday, then you'd better be IN the fairgrounds by 5am, because the limited # of spots we are given will be filled up quickly.
Work with us guys...we're trying to keep this great spot we have committed to ChevyTalk. If we have a "light" attendance year, the organizers of CFAC will know it, and may not give us our prime viewing spot...right there across from the Baja Blues eatery.
Let's do this boys. Let's make 2018 the banner year for ChevyTalk representation at CFAC!

Seriously guys, every year there more and more guys showing up late morning Saturday instead of Friday late afternoon and spend about $90 for a hotel if you don’t live nearby. This is the largest single on day car show in the world and you can’t take one day off? Look at it this way, if we don’t come together as a group we will loose this special spot and then from here on if you want to attend the show you’lol need to show up around 3AM.

Boy is my face red  All these past 10+ years I've been attending, I don't think I've ever put down Chevy Talk as my club or affiliation I've never been a member of a "club" so I always leave that space blank  I will be sure to advise my attending guests to do so in the future. 
Steve we should be there right around 5.

OK Rodger, You should be OK if you're arriving Saturday. the Club thing is for those parking Friday Night. Still not a bad idea to keep the club attendance info up to date though. Next year! See you there.

What's the plan with getting all the stuff to the fairgrounds on Friday night? Are you bringing everything Steve? Or do you need me to stop at Tony's on the way south to pick some of it up? He's going AWOL again...so we'll need to kick in here I think.

Pablo, I need to call Kelly and see if he is going or will let us use his place to pick up the tents. I lost his phone number when I turned my phone in, but will call Kathy Huntsman and see if she has it. I won't be back until late Friday night. Maybe Ross can make arrangements for me to get in late, but not sure about that. Better to have Robert and yourself get them, if that is still an option? Let me know, I will call you after I can reach Kelly.

Just get me Kellys cell number and we'll stop at his place and grab the stuff for setup at the CT spot on Friday afternoon. We'll occupy in such a way that when you get there crack of dawn on Saturday you can squeeze in the Chesterfield Special.
