Just curious if anyone knows of any parts store selling usable front brake hoses for '71 C20 (disc brakes). I've not had any luck and have resorted to having lines custom made.

FYI, the Dorman lines do not work. The flexible portion is too short and the end that takes a clip does not fit the frame bracket properly.

The Centric rear brake hose (127" WB, w/coils) fits A-OK!

How about RockAuto , my goto.

Just because your car/truck was "Made In America" doesn't mean it's American made... think about it. Buy American First.

Sad to say, rockauto is where my Dorman hoses were purchased. The 67-72 truck forum guys use 1973 truck hoses, but you have to coil the hose as it is really long. Not good enough for my work. I’m trying EL Johnston Custom Hoses out of GA. Should receive sometime next week.

Hoses were made by EL Johnston: Link

They made them just like the originals, with new caliper hose end, but had to reuse the old clip ends since those are obsolete. Should have them for install this weekend. I expect zero problems.

Update, fitment was great. Even had hose curve and clip end fitting index spot on.

I'm getting the idea that you don't have Original parts on your truck. Have you tried to run the casting numbers on all the front end parts (if all do have) to see if they are indeed for your year of truck?
As we all know from time to time we find out the Past Owners have put on what ever they could find to make it work. Ask me how I know, short story on my truck I called it my Junk Yard Dog as I went through it and found wrong year fitment parts installed.

Something to think about for runny the numbers. my 0.2
