Greetings,
Have 69 2dr custom disc brake car.
Will be doing some cross country traveling pulling little camper so exploring moving to thinner wheels/tires. Also going back to hub centric.
Purchased 69 4 door drum brake car that appears to have original 15x6 rims. They fit on the disc brake car but one is bent.
Having trouble trying to find an exact replacement.
Any wisdom to be shared as to what other cars use this same wheel. I've searched eBay and found one that appears to be correct but with thick layer of glossy black paint but then I'm still not positive it's correct.
Thanks
Duke

If you want 15 x 6 " steel wheels that are Disc brake compatible , there should be lots out there from the 70's and 80's passenger cars . However if you want to be correct for 69 , look for YZ code ( stamped near the valve stem ) . A bit harder to find , but at least you know what code to look for .

'70 and older use the 5 on 4 3/4" bolt pattern. In '71 they went to 5 on 5" for the passenger cars, so those wheels won't fit. I believe the Chevelles and Monte Carlos still used the 4 3/4" pattern, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

The A-bodies (chevelle/300/monte carlo, tempest/lemans/gto, skylark/gs, cutlass/442) all used 4.75"/5 all years '64-88. So did the F-bodies and the E-bodies.
The sedan b-body chevy returned to 4.75"/5 in 1977-90. Sourcing from old box-caprice should give plenty of disc fitting 15"*6" steelies to pick and choose from.
