I have a nice set of good driver quality eyebrows and spears. They are originals and could probably be cleaned up and used as is. My concern is that they are going on a frame off restored Nomad. I am very tempted to use as is and not send them out to be rechromed unless I can find someone experienced and reliable in restoring these hard to find pieces. I'd prefer someone on the West Coast, but will consider elsewhere if practical. Any recommendations?

I've had all the exterior trim on my 63 Impala chrome plated by Nashville Plating with excellent results. Not cheap but their work is top notch.

Thanks Gary, and yes, good work comes at a high price. We have excellent platers all over CA, but the eyebrows and side molding (spears) on a '55 Nomad are pot metal an painted in the center. They also have studs that break off and must be replaced. That makes this set very difficult to restore.
