Recently installed Tremec tko500 in my 63 409. Have now developed a bad vibration starting at 1800 RPMs. Will do it whether on the road or sitting still with clutch released or depressed. Feel it worse in the seat of your pants. Have had tranny out 3 times, can't see anything, no interference with the floor pan. Had driveline shortened, balanced, and installed urethane carrier bearing. Any ideas

Don't worry about the driveshaft or related parts. If the vibration occurs when the car is standing still, the problem has to be in parts which turn with the engine. When you installed the TKO, did you do anything to the existing clutch or flywheel?

Those who choose an automatic transmission want transportation. Those who choose a manual transmission want to drive.
