Any tips on ragjoint replacement for a 1968 c 10 with manual steering . Seems to be the original. I would love to swap the whole thing ,but its not in budget right now. Thanks Joe .

My experience is mostly on the 69-72 trucks which have the steering sections which collapse. The feature allows enough slack to change the rag joint fairly easy. On your truck, I believe that you have the solid 3/4" shaft which limits getting the shaft out of the way. I believe you have two options: 1) move the column upward or 2) move the steering box downward. There is a 3rd possibility of moving the shaft upward but usually the bearings are stuck on the shaft preventing this.
