I have just completed a front disk brake conversion on my 66 Impala. I used the Wilwood front wheel kit for use with stock spindles. I could not be more happy with the results. All the parts are very high quality.
the kit has 12.19" rotors and fixed 4 piston calipers. The more I use them and the more the pads and rotors break in the better they work ! Great way to convert to front disk brakes !
The picture shown is with my 18" wheels. I have tried a late model gm 15" wheel and they work also.

another note is that this kit does not change the wheel offset as with many of the kits for use with stock spindles

That looks great. What model # are they? I’m want to install them on my 1966 Caprice. I was ordered CPP big brakes front but the caliper brake bracket are on back order. They couldn’t give me firm date when they will be in stock. This looks like a better solution.

Yes sir, it uses stock spindles. That was one of the things I liked about this kit. The hubs that come with it are specific to 65-68 with the small bearings.

converted to Non-power "manual brakes" . Works great with the Wilwood setup. Very little pedal effort.

My brakes just got in. Did your car have power brakes and you converted to manual? Also are you still using the rear drum brakes? My Caprice has power drum brakes. The firewall looks cleaner without the power booster.

Yes, my car originally had power drum brakes with single line master cylinder. I still have my original rear drum brakes and do not plan on changing them.

Glad to help if you have any more questions
