Wow, what a nice car! The wide side trim on the '64 SS is a big reason why I prefer them.

Gorgeous! Love the color. Do the new body mounts help with general noise like when going over bumps? I'm thinking of doing that to my '61.

In three days time,the old rubbers were replaced, car serviced, aeromotive phantom fuel filter element replaced and the car driving.

Oh, The car started cutting and fuel pressure dropped and we finally removed the the fuel Tank and look at what we found in the tank:

This is what we originally installed in the tank. Im not sure whether the alcohol based 95 Octane Unleaded fuel we use in South Africa could be the cause for the sponge to disintegrate the way it did.
