This piece is long enough to go all the way across but what about the projections and the curve? Thanks - Glen

The piece under the tailights was always separate from the one under the trunk. They were originally stapled to the painted metal.

I never install them on my cars. I do not plan on driving on gravel at higher speeds.

I consider them optional to reinstall them.

Don't forget the seals that look the ones in your picture for the bottoms of the inner fenders along with the inner fender seals above the A frames.

Another comment on the rubber piece in the picture. It’s about twice as wide as the original rubbers that were stapled to the painted flange on the car.
Also the original rubbers were flat with no rib in them( the one in the picture has a raised center section).

Finally the original rubber seals were stapled to the bottom of the painted metal flange on the car.
