Hi Ram, Have a look at the earlier diagram you posted of the optional 49 assembly.
Diagram 114 I think. Particularly the description of how it works.

I think the more modern inverted air only precleaner is relevant as it still works by making the air do something that causes it to loose its ability to hold the heavier particles, and catch them before the filter.

I had hoped that you appreciated that the so called "Heavy duty" oil-bath aircleaner is just the standard aircleaner with an oil-bath pre-cleaner added. So kind of old apples v new apples.
