Hello, I specifically signed on to this forum for help on finding information on a GM car part that I found in my Father's old house. He was a car guy (auto body). Sadly he's passed away and now I'm left to cleaning out the house.

The part looks to be a NOS stainless steel trim piece. The paper wrapper around the part reads "GM Genuine Parts", with a part number that reads either 13664288 or 3664288.

If I had to guess, I'd say the part belongs to a 50s era car. However, any information about this part would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to see it go to a good home or be used. I do not want to send it to the scrap yard.

YES! The last number is a 3, not an 8. Great! Thanks so much. Now to find it a home.

I put it up on eBay. I'm Not sure what's a reasonable price for it though.
