Thanks for the compliments, guys! Finally wrapped up the exhaust, fuel hoses and rear brake line. I moved the brake line from the right side to the left side, so I had to rework the rear axle brake lines. Felt like I've been camped out under the car for weeks!
Here's a few pictures:

I played around with some detail work on the front body supports. I removed part of them to make clearance for the exhaust manifolds, but that left them looking hacked up. So, I cut off the excess bracket off the firewall, and used the inner lip to make a finished edge. I only did part of the right side, I'll finish both when the engine comes out.

Interesting project.
I think you should change the headers for hugger type, you don't have much room for the steering lingage. Am I right?

Could you post picture of engine clearence to firewall?
I'm doing LM7 swap (waiting the engine) and was wondering those vertical supports, remove or not...

I'm waiting for the shafts and u-joints to come in, then I'll see what I need to do. This is a budget-build, so there's not a lot of money to toss at every problem. Always looking for a work-around. Here's a couple pictures of my clearance.

Everything's tight on these swaps. We set the front clip on to mark up where to cut the wheelwells for spring tower clearance and figure out what to do with radiator cooling. I don't like to hack things up unnecessarily. When I do have to hack, I try to give it a "finished" look.

Yeah I know.
I've done LS1 swap for my '52 (Blue-Eye), now putting LM7 to Sedan delivery…

About the radiator, I use 2000 Camaro radiator for Blue-eye. I tilt it backward and it fits, even with Camaro air filter case
In sedan delivery I'm gonna use 2004 Silverado radiator.

I have a stock-style aluminum radiator and will probably go with a shrouded pusher fan. Minimum modification.

I put the front clip up on saw horses and started to mod the inner panels to clear the MII spring towers. The right side was easy, but the left side needed more work. I decided it would be easier to just fill in the whole opening, then cut out what I needed. A little more finish work today, then on to something else.

The opening for the spring towers are done, except for paint. I have a few more things to work on. I have to remove the radiator support to fit an electric fan and repair some inner panel rust. Here's a couple more pictures of the inner panels.

After mocking up various cooling system configurations, this is what I came up with, to use a 17" pusher fan. I know I'll still have to do clearance work for the AC condenser fittings. Waiting for those parts to come in.

I added some extra material on the back of the core support for mounting the radiator and changed the orientation of the water pump top tube. Changing the tube angle made more room for the intake elbow.

Been working on the steering linkage and just about have that wrapped up, but as usual, an interference issue. I worked on that last night, but didn't do a trial fit.

I have a new addition to the shop, a 60K btu Hot Dawg heater. I had planned on getting it earlier, but the virus chaos put it on hold. Now I can get rid of the wood burner and bring in the bigger welding table I got last fall.

Trial fit of the ac compressor & bracket kit. I had planned on fitting the condenser & electric fan , but the condenser came in damaged, so now I'm waiting for the replacement.

Finally got my new 1920's welding table sandblasted, painted, and in the shop. It's going to work out much better than the Work Mate stand I've been using. Now I need to make a splatter shield for it.

Finished up the welding table. I was able to scrounge up enough aluminum for the splatter shield, and with the DA and some 80 grit, it cleaned up nicely. All I need now in a 4' light and an 110 outlet.

The weather's been either too hot or rainy this past week, so I spent the time in the shop, on the cooling fan & condenser mounting. I still have to weld & stiffen the brackets, but I'm please on how it all came out , a nice & tight package.
