Just picked up a low mileage 700r4 out of a 1988 irocfor dirt cheap. I am wnating to put it in my 61 impala behind a 355 small block. I know about the tv cable, crossmember modification, and driveshaft shortening. My question is how do i get this transmission to work properly and without the external toggle switch which everyone seems to be doing. I dont want to have to remember to lock/ unlock convertor evertime i drive my car.I want it to work like stock. Ive been reading on internal/ external lock up kits but these do not seem to do what im wanting. Anyone have any info on this.

Have you reviewed this companies web site ?

here is from their web site the TV cable -it has lots of information
I reviewed it all for my 62 SS 327 that has a 700R4 installed before I bought the car.

Here is another link example from their site or just call them....
