Does anyone know where to get these things? I was told that the clips for a 57 bel air work but I ordered some and they will not work, unless I got the wrong ones.

This is it

1959 Biscayne with Impala Moldings, 5.3l LS Swap, 4l60e trans, factory PCM
1992 GMC Typhoon - Bowtie block and heads, forged everything, PTE76mm Turbo, 4L80E, Stock PCM's

So if these clips don't exist for sale, how are all the people restoring Bel air and Biscaynes mounting their channel to the rails?

If you don't have the tool to push the tri shaped holders into the stripping you won't get them to work. I laid a bead of clear silicone on my new channels and pressed them into the door channel with the rolled up window and let them sit a couple of days. 10+ years ago.

I used "The Right Stuff" RTV and screws. The screws are slightly hitting the glass. So I can probably just ditch the screws??

So if I had the tool, would clips be attainable?

Also, what are you guys doing about the brackets that attach down toward the bottom that come attached to the original weather strip?
