I started taking apart the front suspension cross member yesterday and came to a dead end on some of the parts like the knuckles from the control arms.

Also the shafts for the upper control arms on the cross member.

The cross member is out and I want to get all the components sandblasted and epoxy primed.

Any links to a good thread here or some other site with good into I would appreciate it. I found a little with a search but not the details I need.

Thanks, Brian

Look at the top of the page for this forum, a site called stickey notes, click on that and there you are, all the information you need for your project and alot of others.

LOL, thanks so much, what a moron I am, I am even in the thread there! The bummer is Photobucket, those bastards. None of the photos can be seen there.

As I recall, the sticky was pretty detailed. Too bad about photobucket. I put a lot of the pictures on my car's blog site, when I redid the suspension. Perhaps with the two together you can get what you need.

I put together that article in the sticky. BUUUUUUUUUUUUT, as you have discovered, Photobucket has hijacked everyone's photo files until they pay a ransom. ALTHOUGH, it has become clear that PB has discovered the errors of their way and are now offering a much lower fee. TOO LATE, MANY people, such as me, have told PB to take it and shove it where the sun don't shine!
If you will email me at home, tparsons6@cox.net , I will attach a PDF of that article back to you.
Let's see if I can attach it here. Let me know if this opens for you. Otherwise, I'll email it.

Nice job on the pdf, Tom! I just downloaded it for myself. Thank you! That should be added to the sticky.

I posted the PDF in the sticky above, I THINK (no guarantees) it will open for everyone.

I followed DZAUTO's instructions , I did it no problem , it was my first time attempting this front end rebuild. His way makes it easy .
