Donny when I ordered the wiring for my '60 Impala about 3 years ago I don't remember if I inquired about the speaker wire to the rear speaker. Is there one available, if not I can just make one. Also do you have the wire from the radio to the front speaker? Thank you, Lamar

Hi Lamar,
No there is no radio wire for the front. There is a power connection (yellow and gray wires) on the dash harness that plug into the radio, but the speaker wires were part of the speaker assembly and were hard soldered into the speaker. There is a rear seat speaker harness but we cannot make it as there are connectors on the harness that are not available. You'll also need a fader switch and harness to use a rear seat speaker. I might have some NOS ones, but they are really tough to find. I think I have 1 NOS rear seat speaker kit complete. Price is 295 compete with the speaker, switch wiring and hardware. Let me know.

Donny

Thank you Donny. Would you happen to have an image of the fader switch? I have a wire with a small round switch with a turn stem if my memory is correct that I took from under the dash but I couldn't find it today. I will continue to look for it. I have a new front and rear speaker already just needed the wire. Your correct on the soldered on leads my old front one is soldered. Again thank you, Lamar

Lamar, I checked over at the shop today. I have a complete NOS fader assembly, harness and ground wire. Shoot me a private note if you are interested.

Sorry Lamar, PM sent. I need your email address. Sent it through the PM system, not on here.

Hey Donny, what's the chance that the fader switch is installed in the radio? Slim to none? Lamar

Nope, it's actually the outer knob. It's missing.

Thank you Donny. I had posted this before I got the picture of the fader switch from you via email. I'm still looking to see if I have the switch. I will check in my out building and if I don't I will get with you about the one that you have. Lamar
