I finished polishing my rear end cover. Not perfect but OK. I replaced all the bolts, washers and nuts with stainless steel and polished them. Washers are a real bummer to polish but my thumb is really shiny. Cleaned the pinion yoke casting and painted it. The case has some sort of thermal coating that Frankland put on there that is supposed to keep it cooler. Ready to take it to Moser and get axles made once we get above zero.

That looks like a show-quality job to me. IMO, you have nothing to apologize for.

Just out of curiosity, what is your planned use for this truck? For example: show, parade, cruising, race, driver?

Just want to play. probably a few shows. Some showing off. Maybe a short trip to the local drag strip. Plan on driving the wheels off it. I'm not having them juice it up too much.I told them I want to be able to just drive it around with good manors. can always swap blower pulleys and rear end gears to get a little crazy. Thus the roots blower and quick change.

Nothing like a good whine. It's good to be stroked but it's better to be blown.
