Here is the blower setup I'm getting. Mine will have serpentine accessories and the blower belt will power the oil pump. I guess because I will have no distributer. Also the 3-2 bbl carbs.

Hi Mick, Belt driven oil pumps can be very expensive and if you lose the belt you can loose the engine.
I can see you may want to use crank trigger ignition but you can still drive the oil pump with a dummy distributor.

My Blower engine is the wrong type for this forum and has crank trigger ignition and a dummy driver for the oil pump. The blower snout goes right through where an ordinary distributor would go and I don't like using a crab cap and lifting the blower to work on the ignition.
Also my ignition module has a boost retard function as the PSI goes up.

Thanks Kiwi. I'll leave that to them. Maybe an alarm and a spare belt. I don't know a lot about that stuff. I build factories. I'll mention it to them.
