Everything's right about that wagon, except the front drum brakes.

I hate rat rods, but I really like that one! But, that isn't a Nomad, is it? The tilt in the door frame has me wondering.

Looks to me like it was a four door wagon with the back door upper frame moved forward to the windshield pillar. The sheet metal that is under/ahead of the cowl area looks like it could be the former front door skin.

EVERY PANEL on that drag car looks modified to some degree.
Belair-o, like you, I am not a big fan of "rat rods" but this one has a certain look that is appealing.

I agree with you, Jalapeno, there is an incredible amount of thought and work that went into that car, and as you say, it (to me), looks right.
I find myself wondering, how does he keeps it cool - where is the radiator?

A nomad door would be a hardtop, not a sedan. I just thought it looked interesting and provided a way to poke wagon crazy with a stick. Hope to see his mythical, Harry Potter, car in person. Someday.
I don't think of them as Nomad guys, as much as guys who gave up on finding a sedan delivery and settled. ;b

Stick poke acknowledged Steve. FWIW, I do have thousands of dollars in newly rechromed bumpers on it now...
Wiring is about 80% complete, and the exhaust system is in the planning/part-buying stages.

That wasn't a Nomad. Looks to have been a 4 door wagon.
