Hi, I'm replacing the whole cowl/firewall on a 65' impala and not sure where to cut the a pillar and not sure if sleeving is necessary and what I would sleeve with? I started by drilling out the spot welds where the pillar attaches to the roof and found that there is a lot more metal buried and overlapped and it appears that simply cutting the pillars would be more simple. Does any one have some advise for me before I take a wafer wheel to the pillars.
thanks jim

I never saw your original post, but that would have been my advice.
