I've heard you can rebuild gauges.

And what about a heater blower motor, can that be rebuilt if it doesn't run?

What else can be rebuilt on old trucks?

The only thing that is wasted on an old truck, is its last backfire!

Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

I believe you can rebuild 100% of the truck...if you have Jay Leno's phone number. IMO it's a steep enough learning curve for figuring out how the gauges come out let alone rebuilding them. Having said that, by all means if someone tells you go left when you want to go right. Go right. Let us know when you run into roadblocks, that way we all learn.
BTW, I don't want anyone to think I'm dissing Jay Leno. I'm in awe of what he and his crew can do.

Heater blower motors are relatively cheap compared to rebuilding them. I got mine from LMC about 15 years ago for about $25.00. You can probably find one for $30 - $50 today.
