Hello first and for most. Nice to meet everyone and thanks for accepting me to the forums. Now for a noob question. I recently purchased a 1981 G20 Chelan runs good drives ok leaks around a couple windows... ECT. My question is does anyone know where I can find a picture of the inside roof that's been stripped or like a skeleton pic of the inside I'm trying to mount a roof vent with fan and don't want to pull the whole headliner down to find the area furthest away from the support ribs rear of the van? Any pics or links to pics much appreciated

Welcome to the site. G20 are becoming popular again. People are restoring them for recreational use. A modern fuel injected engine and trans are ideal for long trips. Let me search and see what I can find. Van info is scattered around the internet.

If you can find a cargo van (with no interior trim) then the roof supports are the same.

The same body was used from 1970 through 2006 ish.

Go here: http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.ph...

Download the 87 Chevrolet Light Duty manuals.
On page 8A-20 Cab eletrical, you'll find a diagram with web bracing. Unfortunately, no detailed measurements are listed.
