Did some good driving this season, from May-October, getting the car out once a week on average to local shows in the area. I put about 700 miles on her this season, thought I would have put more on her. How many miles do you average per a 6-month season?

My 57 just turned 20,000 today since it was finished in 2011, so about 3300 miles a year. Last weekend I drove it on a 750 mile "Fall Foliage Tour" up to Oklahoma and Arkansas. Today I went on a 175 mile trip called the "Hot Rod Hundred".
I like to drive it more than attending shows, so I try to pick shows that are farther from the house.

I average, over 16 years, 1500 miles in about 7 months. I attend some local shows and Back to the 50's in St. Paul MN every year and just cruise with the better half.

Acardon,

I was on that fall foliage tour in Poteau, Ok. too.
I drove a hugger orange 56 210 2 door sedan and I wish I had known you were there because I would have liked to have met you since I've seen your posts here and on Chevytalk for years.

I wish I could claim anywhere near some of you have driven; my Delivery has't even been out of the garage in 3 years now due to "other" projects. Next year, the 4.88's are going to get thoroughly exercised, one way or another. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

I generally average 2500 miles per year. Living in a small town in the middle of nowhere, we average 60-100 miles one way every time we head out to a show. But that doesn`t matter, the driving is the most fun part.

My Delivery has't even been OUT of the garage in THREE years now, let alone put ANY miles on it. And, with my wife's recent "at fault accident", that cost our insurance company big time, and then resulted in them cancelling us, it'll probably sit another three years. The ONLY insurance I can get to cover it, is a broad form policy; and that does't cover MY car however, at all. My wife can't even drive a stick shift, so why should it make ANY difference as far as the Delivery goes, as it's a manual 4 speed? The real kicker is, she does't seem to even care one iota that I can't get it insured; she does't get it that I can't drive my car! Can't get "separate" insurance either. If I did't love her.............................I am Butch/56sedeandelivery.

I love driving the vehicles I have now. I've had my 71 C-10 for over 30 years and it has become a Chevy Legend per Chevorlet. www.chevylegend.com It has over 300,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner and have it documented.
That being said we bought our 56 a year ago. My dad & I drove it to Yazzo City Mississippi back in May for a week. I have been lucky to get to drive it much of the time. I guess we have put about 5000 miles on it this year at least. The odometer doesn't work! I'm hopeing to drive it on the 2018 HRPT this coming year. It will be my 4 time long hauling. It's about 2800 miles in 7 days.
