I just found a 200 cid v6. The block casting number is 461344. It was made in 1978 and 1979. Where can I find a complete rebuild kit pistons and all? I need a distributor also.

that will be hard to find. just get a good running 4.3 out of something. a 4.3 with a 100k on the clock will go another 100K miles without touching it.
I only say that because 4.3's are easy to find. the early v6 stuff is tough to find

200 or 229 for that matter are not worth building IMO. A 4.3 Vortec is a MUCH better engine. It has the same external dimensions and makes 2x the power with better fuel efficiency. Thanks to the marine use you can get a cast iron or aluminum Vortec 4bbl intake and use a small 500 cfm Edelbrock or Q-Jet and make ~230 HP from a stock Vortec engine. I would use the hottest factory roller cam out of a 1993-1994 Vin W CPI engine. The Vortec 4.3 also has revised firing angles and a balance shaft and will run ALOT smoother than an odd fire 200.

If you check with Northern Auto Parts, you can buy nearly any engine kit from them. The parts on that engine are shared with other Chevrolet engines.
