The 3 brush generator on my '32 is giving me the fits.
Everything checks out good but I get 2 readings by moving the 3rd brush: 0 and 20 amps.......
Plus it's SO handy to change.
I'm sick of it.
I'm all ears for suggestions for an updated 2 post generator along with a recommendation for a regulator.

A James Peterson hidden internal voltage regulator may be the solution you are looking for. I put one in the OEM generator on my '36 Chevy pickup with excellent results.
