The mechanics I've talked with all like these new throttle body type units. One mechanic says he has install 5 of them so far and has no complaints.I looked them up in Summit catalog and read that their street kit comes with 54# injectors and will service up to 400hp. My 97 camaro engine is roughly 385hp (at the motor) yet only uses 24# injectors. Why such a huge difference? (I forgot to ask the mechanics)

The 97 Camaro engine has 8 injectors.

The FITech has 4.

Beware of what FITECH says it will support. First off their 600hp kit is really only good for 420HP MAX if you run any gas with ethanol as most run either 93 with 10% or 15%. A 30% loss they fail to tell you about. Second unless you get the power adder kit add on you can't go into the tables or use 2 fans. I have a fresh 409 that should get 400Plus hp and I'm lucky to hit 300hp after 7 dyno runs and adjustment.

The mechanic couldn't fiquire out why it just kept asking for more fuel and timing, now we know.
