Bought car about 3 yrs ago. Appears the previous
owner did some tinkering with wiring. Passenger
side brake light works, but drivers side does not.
Changed bulb and checked for power but have none.
Could a person tap into the passenger side brake
and run wires to drivers side? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Do your brake lights and rear turn signals share the same bulbs? If no, go ahead and run a jumper like you asked about. If yes, does your driver side rear turn signal work normally?

Those who choose an automatic transmission want transportation. Those who choose a manual transmission want to drive.

Thanks Raycow. Brake has its own separate bulb.
