I recently bought a 76 malibu for a project with my teenage son. The previous owner took out the heat/ac. Ive seen the kits from vintage air and such but they only go to 1972. Does anyone know if those will fit a 76? Thats alot of money to drop for something that wouldnt fit.

Best bet would be to get a parts car and take what you need. I doubt the vintage air system would fit but you could always call them and ask. You will find that you can darn near buy an entire new 68-72 Chevelle in parts. Not so for the 73-77 years unfortunately. 1/hmn...

Universal kits?

And it looks like OPG has most of the parts to put it all back together.
