I'm looking at a Mustang 2 system for my suspension, and considering Chassis Engineering or Heidts. Any opinions? I'm a first time builder and leaning toward CE.

After getting the crossmember, should I buy the arms, rotors, etc from that specific company or can I buy from anyone?

Both are excellent, but unless you are excellent at welding or know someone that is, the bolt-in CE front end is the way to go. I have one for my '48 Cabriolet. I know many people with the CE front end and they love it. Here is another bit of info I picked up over the years. The Chevy "top hat" frame is designed to torque/twist giving a better ride and using the CE bolt-in is like the original suspension and allows the frame to torque. Welding in a front end takes that torque out of the frame. Personally, I like the idea of the CE because it leaves the frame the way the engineers designed it.
