Awesome. Your car survived the flood because it wasn't full of modern technology/sensors etc.
I had one Black car, that was enough. I have never seen hydraulic actuated hood openers. Looks fantastic. That big engine may need some beefier front springs. It looked great when you got it in red, (well perhaps not the aftermarket steering wheel IMHO) Very Well Done. $70,000?

What a beautiful job...Scarlette will be the belle of the ball !! Every detail is documented so well too. What did you use to insulate the interior ?? Noticed you were able to put it everywhere in the car...looks like it laid in nicely too. where did you get your interior from ?? HOW DOES SHE RIDE ?? THANKS again for documenting all the hard work, and your special touches. My wife Lynn loves it..Dittos for me too. Michael J.

Thanks for the compliments. I used Hushmat to insulate the interior to include the trunk, interior, roof and firewall. My seat covers and door panels are from Classic Industries and my carpet and mats are from Stock Interiors. She rides pretty good but I am still trying to dial in the adjustable QA1 coil overs and shocks. Here are a few more pics:

The panhard bar is great. I originally bought the non-adjustable which did not work out. It is easy to adjust and it instructs you to do so while the wheels are on the ground.

Already got one! I bought a MaxJax before I started the rebuild. It lifts the car 48" in the air...which would have kept it high and dry.

Your car is ridiculous!! I first saw the video on YouTube a couple months ago, then just stumbled on this. I got a few questions for ya.

What headlights you running?

Did you convert all the interior lights to LED? My dash lights are so dim.

Also where did you get that cup holder?..lol...love it!

I am trying to build this thing into a driver....

Joe

One thing I am curious of...

The Red used for the metal interior parts [dash too], was that color Red derived from factory paint codes, or just a hue you decided on?

Beautiful build. My favorite colors. Thanks for taking the time to post all those photos and updates. I have a black 66 c10 and am going with a red interior.

That billet cup holder is available at https://watsons-streetwor ks.com/product/swing-out-...

They make a power version as well.

All I can say is WOW! Absolutely, a wonderful job. I especially like how you did the insulation. You did it right, every section including the doors and roof and interior quarter panels. I have used dynomat but only on the floor of my 67 about 10 years ago. You will definitely notice the sound level difference with the entire interior matted.
