Just out of curiosity, what did you do with the 250?

It's strapped to a pallet sitting on a shelf in my shop - begging me to do something stupid like fab up an intake and stick a 4-71 on it! maybe later...gotta finish what's on my plate first!

Thanks for the response. I might be in the market for an engine for my 51 so I thought I would ask.

I'd do a 235 or 292 - closer to era specific for 51..I think 51 was still a 216? same as 235 in appearance and 235's have more power to be harvested than the 250 design plus waaay more aftermarket support. plus shipping mine to you would cost more than the motor is worth. ...Just LS it!

Well folks - I think ya'll are done with me... and other than a couple little bitty things... I think I'm done with the car... I'll report back with a time slip from the track once it warms up in the spring. Gonna drive this thing all over town and ask for my Sr. citizen discount... Later!

Awesome!! Very nice looking car!
One suggestion --> the "Chevrolet" emblem on the grill needs to be up higher on the next horizontal bar up.
