I'm building a 50 chevy pickup, It will be a cruiser not a racer, I'm installing a 283 with late model 906 heads I have the TPI intake manifold for these heads. My TPI hardware is 1985 vintage but I would like to run speed density with a 7730 ecm. I have a 1991 700R4.

1. Do I need to run the EGR valve? (With Block hugger headers)
2. What do i need to add to use a Cruise control?
3. Do I need a remote computer for the 700R4 or can my computer control it?

If it ain't broke keep fixing it till it is! That's the Goverment way!

1. No
2. An aftermarket cruise control or an older GM cruise that is a stand-alone system.
3. No. The 7730 does a good job of controlling the torque converter clutch.
