Mine were done by Willie as well. Very nice work and he is great to work with.

Before he restored mine I bought a pair from ss396.com and though they looked good they didn't fit well. Two of my friends who are very good with paint and body were helping me with my car and they were sick about it because the aftermarket hinges ended-up resulting in paint damage. I "ate" the cost of the bad hinges because they were not perfect in appearance for return after the ordeal.

I will likely never buy aftermarket hinges again after that experience. I don't blame specifically ss396 it's just that it's difficult to tell the real source and how well an aftermarket part will actually work. When YearOne was primarily a print catalog business they were great at rating at least sheet metal parts. They had a system which should have been the benchmark for rating all aftermarket parts. Once Yearone seemingly replaced most print catalogs with their internet site I tried to like them but their website was so brutally bad I rarely buy anything from them anymore. Occasionally I try to search their site but I really don't even consider them anymore just due to the experience with their website.

Scott
