Hi everyone. I currently have an -89 Chevy 350 engine which im looking into getting a new intake manifold. My issue at the moment is that im soon or within a year plan on rebuilding an older -70s 350 and im just interested in knowing if any of you know of an intake that will fit on both engines. Help is appreciated.

I'm not aware of a manifold that has provisions for both the old 70's head and newer 89, but maybe someone else will chime in.

I'll add this though, if you plan to upgrade the heads on the older 70's engine anyway when you rebuild it, you can get aftermarket heads that are drilled for both and then use the newer intake you plan on buying for your 89.

And some of the newer intakes can be modified to work on older heads, but you'd better either have a Bridgeport or be very handy with a die grinder to make that work out.

I'm going to have to retract that statement about some aftermarket heads being available with both intake center bolt patterns. I was informed that the heads I was referring to are not aftermarket, but were modified by a machinist using threaded insets. Sorry for any confusion.
