I need to find out if a 4 speed manual shifter will fit a 1976 3 on the tree, nova?! Might it bolt on to the back of the 3 speed trans., like it did on the 4 speed?! TY!

Would you settle for an EX-Vega owner? I used to own one before I learned that the stock block could be sleeved. Instead, I installed an Opel engine in mine because it already had an Opel transmission. That took care of the oil burning, but it still had other chronic problems, so I sold it and never looked back.

Ray,
Sure. Interesting that you mention Opel because I have a GT. I had a buddy sell me his V8 GT then, looking for parts for it, I ended up with a Cosworth. Now looking for parts for both plus the Opel! Go figure...

I have a 1974 vega panel wagon 350- 4speed and a 1974 spirit of america 2 dr coupe stock and 2 parts cars 1973 vega and a 1975 wagon vega

We had a Pontiac Astre. Nice car but it sure liked oil but it didn't burn enough for GM to replace it.
