I have always sandblasted my own parts either in a cabinet or one of those cheap 5 gallon units that everyone sells
While doing some research I realized there are very few “hobby “ type units …it is either the $100-200 units or the $5000 commercial units .
I did find some in the $600-1200 range and my question is has anyone used or owned one of THESE blasters ?

Any comments or recommendations of other brands appreciated
Thanks
Dan

I bought this one about 15 years ago and it has proven to be reliable and well worth the money:

For a dust collector, I used this: Dust Deputy, along with a shop vac.
Both are made in the USA.
Everything has worked out well.

I bought one these used on Craigslist, I used it on my door jambs, inside of doors, and everywhere I couldn't do with a sander. I thought it worked really well and was quite fast. My compressor is rated at 23cfm at 90psi.

The brand is ALC. Model number is F-110 DM.
Northern Tool carries this brand as well as other other suppliers.

This may or may not be out of your price range, but we got a the RB4226 blast cabinet from Raptor Blaster for our garage, and we coudn't be happier with it.
