Hi all . New here 
I recently purchased a 1974 impala from GA, drove it to Miami, went to register the vin with the police and it doesnt have a vin plate... I did purchase the vehicle legally from an actual County Auction in GA but in order to get a title here I need to get a VIN Verification... I kid you not Ive been waiting on a detective from my city to "find out where on the impala are the vin numbers"
The one from the windshield is missing
Does anyone know where else I can find an Identifying # or Vin on the 1974 Impala .. Ive only found the body plate number under and the casting number on the engine...

Check alongside the top of the driver's side frame rail; the hard to see part just under the floorpan, between the front and rear wheels.

Note--It is not a complete VIN like what would be on title or on top of dash, example of con vin (aka vin derivative).
10N123456
1 - GM Division. 1=Chev, 2-Pontiac etc
0 - Model Year
N - Final assembly plant code
123456 - VIN sequence no aka serial number
