Does anyone know how to check to find out if you have drop spindles or OEM? A measurement would be nice. My 65 nova SS is down in the front about 2" and I don't know if I have drop spindles or dropped springs. Springs sure would be a lot cheaper to fit. 65 SS Randy

dropped springs will probly make your a-arms level-pointing upwards from the frame out...but i could be wrong.

Drop spindles will not change the relationship of the control arms.

Lowering spring will change the relationship of the control arms.

If you have drum brakes, you don't have dropped spindles.

If your spindles have integral caliper brackets, they are dropped spindles. But not all dropped spindles have integral caliper brackets.

Otherwise it's probably best to post a photo, someone will know.

not sure about the disc drop spindles. i had a 67 with disc spindles from a gran prix i believe. i dont think it dropped the front but it needed ball joint adapters for the lowers.

Does anyone have the measurment from the top of the spindle to the axle? That will tell me if I have a dropped spindle. Randy
