I am new to the El Camino forum. I just purchased an 84 and am curious about what size wheels & tires will fit without doing a lot of modifications. I will definitely be going up to a 15" wheel or possibly a 16". What is the correct lug nut spacing and offset? Thanks in advance.

The bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4". I can't help you with offset or anything else related to your question because I don't do wide wheels/tires.

You can determine the offset of the stock wheels by direct measurement of the width and backspace. However, you may need to remove the tire to get an accurate measurement of the wheel width.
