I have a 1974 454 LS4 long block with original bore that came out of my S3 that had the matching 11" clutch and fine spline M21 4 speed.
What is this matching set up worth I'm thinking of selling.
Thanks, Jerry

Interested in knowing where you are and why you are selling your #'s matching engine to your car? I'd say it's only worth anything to the guy that owns the car it came out of - crate 454's are cheap.

I think we need a clarification: is the motor and trans only matching between each other? In other words the motor's partial VIN matches the Muncie's partial VIN?

Or are you also saying that it is the born-with engine and trans out of your car? If so I agree, don't separate them from the car, that would be foolish.

Engine, trans and bell housing all sold. I still have the original lift for reverse shifter and M21 linkage

Wow I just saw your post- do you happen to have a picture of the lift for reverse shifter? Does it have the knob for it as well?

There has been some talk about what the original knobs looked like for 1973 SS Chevelle 4 speed sticks, so I'm curious what your 1974 original shifter knob looks like.
