I changed the windshield wiper motor because the old motor would not run. All I heard is clicks from the motor and no movement. I bought a new motor assembly from Autozone and followed the instructions for installation, also read the Clymer manual. With power turned on, I get no movement in the delay settings, and I get some movement in the normal mode. It sweeps either fully once or partially, and then quits moving with the clicking noise re-appearing. Am I looking at a control stick/turn indicator stick change? Bill

whats the wireing like on yours? mines an elctrical mess. id say check the plug(wiggle) and connections with wipers on. maybe even try jumper wires from plug to connector. i had to replace bad plugs before. oh so may electrical gremlins I have. also seen some of the wiper assemblys hard to move almost rusted.

Wiring is clean. I'll be checking the switch assy next with an ohm meter and see if there are any shorts or issues.

Yes. The new motor came with the new board attached. It is in the real of possibilities that I got a new motor & board with the same problem, but doubtful. I'll be checking the switch with a meter tomorrow.

Found the connector intermittent going into the motor. Did what I could for now, so at least the wipers work on the high setting. Next, a new connector.
